I'd have to say that elena/elijah just makes me grit my teeth if it's in a romantic context. Friendship I support, but romantically, I stand that every guy in the show practically is after elena and elijah should be wise enough not to fall for her too, or a high school girl in general. (especially one that resembles a girl who he had a bad experience with before.) kind of hypocritical coming from a klaroline fan, but there you go.
